George Kadifa - Chairman
Mr. Kadifa is a Director of Silver Lake. Mr. Kadifa has spent his 30-year technology career serving in chief executive and other senior management positions as well as in management consulting, research and development. Prior to joining Silver Lake, Mr. Kadifa was the Vice President of Global Delivery at IBM Global Technology Services, where he also had served as the General Manager of the company's Applications on Demand product area. Mr. Kadifa joined IBM as a part of its 2005 acquisition of Corio, Inc., where he was the Chairman and CEO. Prior to Corio, Mr. Kadifa was Senior Vice President of the Industrial Sector at Oracle Corporation, directing the company's largest and most profitable vertical sector. In addition, Mr. Kadifa was a management consultant with Booz-Allen & Hamilton as well as a development manager at Xerox Corporation leading strategic initiatives and software development. Mr. Kadifa holds a B.S. degree from the American University of Beirut, an M.S. degree from the California Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Todd Morgenfeld - Director
Mr. Morgenfeld joined Silver Lake in 2004 and is a Director. Previously, Mr. Morgenfeld worked as an investment banker in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions in the technology industry. Earlier in his career, Mr. Morgenfeld served as an armor officer in the U.S. Army. Mr. Morgenfeld is a director on the boards of Serena Software, Inc. and Vantage Data Centers, and previously served on the board of Friends for Youth, a Bay Area non-profit organization. He holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he graduated first in his class.

Greg Hughes - Director
Greg Hughes joined Silver Lake in 2011 and is a Director. Mr. Hughes has over 20 years of experience as a senior executive and consultant in the technology industry. Prior to joining Silver Lake, he was a senior executive at Symantec Corporation, most recently as Group President, Enterprise Products where he held overall responsibility for a $4 billion enterprise software business and led the engineering and product management team. Mr. Hughes held other roles while at Symantec, including Chief Strategy Officer where he led corporate development, portfolio strategy and emerging businesses, and Group President, Global Services where he led the professional, support and managed services business unit. He joined Symantec through its acquisition of VERITAS Software, where he was Executive Vice President, Global Services. Mr. Hughes joined VERITAS after a 10-year career at McKinsey & Company, where he most recently served as Partner and founded and led the Software Practice. Prior to McKinsey, Mr. Hughes was the founder and CEO of Granite Microsystems, an industrial computer provider. Currently, Mr. Hughes is a board member of LogMeIn and was previously a board member of Art Technology Group and the Huawei-Symantec joint venture. Mr. Hughes has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Douglas D. Troxel - Director
Douglas D. Troxel is the founder of Serena Software and has served on Serena's Board of Directors since April 1980. From June 1980 to April 1997, Mr. Troxel served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Serena. Mr. Troxel holds a B.S. in mathematics from Iowa State University.

Elizabeth Hackenson - Director
Elizabeth Hackenson is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for AES Corporation. Prior to joining AES in October 2008, Ms. Hackenson held the position of Chief Information Officer for Alcatel-Lucent. In this position she had responsibility for the oversight and operation of the company's information systems infrastructure, including global communications systems, corporate networks and e-business platforms.
Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent in April of 2006, she held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for MCI. In this position, she employed innovative approaches to create a business-focused IT organization, and developed, managed and maintained the company's supply chain systems. During her five years at MCI, Ms. Hackenson held several senior positions in the company's IT and supply chain organizations, leading various transformation projects, including the development of a centralized shared service model and a state-of-the-art customer self-service portal infrastructure.
Prior to MCI, she worked for UUNET for three years, where she managed the development of Internet products and for Concert Communication, where she was responsible for leading the development and deployment of the company's flagship voice product. She also has held IT management positions at EDS, Computech, TRW and Grumman & Sperry.
Ms. Hackenson holds a degree in data processing from New York State University.

L. Dale Crandall - Director
L. Dale Crandall most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan. Inc. and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals. Mr. Crandall joined Kaiser in 1998 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Kaiser, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of APL Limited and had 32 years of experience with PriceWaterhouse. At PriceWaterhouse, Mr. Crandall served as the Southern California Managing Partner and oversaw services provided to numerous clients, including Bank of California, Hewlett Packard, Chevron, and Disney. Mr. Crandall currently serves on the boards of Ansell Ltd., Coventry Health Care, UnionBanCal Corp., Dodge & Cox Mutual Funds, and Bridgepoint Education, Inc.

Tim Davenport - Director
Tim Davenport is the CEO of Sermo, the largest online physician community in the US. Prior to Sermo, he was CEO of Parature, earlier serving as president of Revolution Health Networks. Mr. Davenport has held a range of executive and board level positions with software and technology companies over the past 20 years, establishing an impressive track record in the technology industry. Mr. Davenport is the former CEO of Vastera, which was sold to JP Morgan Chase in 2005. Previously, Mr. Davenport served as CEO of Best Software, where he oversaw the company's IPO in 1997 as well as its purchase by the Sage Group plc in 2000. Mr. Davenport also serves on the boards of CorasWorks Corporation and Softrax Corporation.

John Nugent - President and Chief Executive Officer
John Nugent brings close to 30 years of experience as a proven and successful software executive to Serena as President and CEO. Prior to joining Serena, Mr. Nugent served as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Operations at SAP Business Objects, where he was responsible for global sales, sales operations, sales consulting and field training. Prior to his worldwide role at SAP, Mr. Nugent served as SAP’s Chief Operating Officer of the Americas, Asia and Japan, and earlier as Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations in the United States. Before joining SAP in 2003, Mr. Nugent served in executive and senior sales management positions at Oracle Corporation for seventeen years, most recently as Senior Vice President Sales responsible for managing all lines of business and market segments in the eastern United States. Mr. Nugent’s sales career began at Software International, where he spent more than six years marketing and selling mainframe applications software to Fortune 1000 companies. Mr. Nugent earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Spring Hill College and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School.
